How to Lock in Your Ramadan Profits 🔐
Al Salam Alaikum 🌱
Over the past few weeks, we’ve explored how to build a diversified portfolio of good deeds, trade short-term gains for eternal wealth, and craft a strong exit strategy for the last 10 nights.
Now, as Ramadan draws to a close, we must focus on sealing our spiritual gains beyond Ramadan- because a true investor doesn’t just make profit; they ensure their wealth continues to grow.

If you’ve ever observed seasoned entrepreneurs and investors, you’ll notice they don’t stop at one success.
Instead, they lock in their gains, reinvest their profits, and build sustainable wealth.
Likewise, our spiritual progress during Ramadan shouldn’t end with Eid- it should set the foundation for a lifetime of growth, inshAllah.
Allah (SWT) reminds us:

The worst thing we could do after Ramadan is to unravel the spiritual discipline we, with Allah’s permission, and tawfeeq worked so hard to build.
So how do we ensure that our Ramadan profits aren’t lost?
🎯 Post-Ramadan Retention Strategy
The reality is, many of us experience a spiritual high in Ramadan, only to face a sharp decline after Eid.
Just as businesses have retention strategies to maintain customer engagement, we need a post-Ramadan strategy to maintain our connection with Allah (SWT).
Here’s how:
📿 Maintain your night prayers, especially Tahajjud- even if it’s just a few rak’ahs.
🤲 Keep fasting regularly (weekly or monthly).
📖 Set a daily Qu’ran goal (even if it’s just a few ayat/verses) to continue your relationship with Allah’s words.
💰️ Keep your charity going- establish automated sadaqah or set reminders to give regularly.
🔄 Automating Good Habits
In business, automation ensures long-term efficiency.
Similarly, we can automate our spiritual habits so they become part of our daily routine, rather than something we struggle to maintain after Ramadan.
Here’s how you can convert Ramadan habits into lifelong systems:
📌 Set fixed times for ibadah- Schedule prayer, Qu’ran, and dhikr like non-negotiable appointments in your day.
📌 Use technology for consistency- Set reminders for post-Ramadan fasts, automated sadaqah, and adhkar notifications.
📌 Tie habits to existing routines- Attach dhikr to daily activities (ex. morning duas while commuting, evening adhkar before sleeping)
📌 Commit to a learning goal- Continue your Ramadan knowledge journey by enrolling in Islamic classes, tafsir studies, community halaqas, and/or watching videos.
📊 Evaluating Your Ramadan Portfolio
Every investor reviews their portfolio to assess performance and make necessary adjustments. Likewise, we should take time to reflect on our Ramadan experience:
🔍️ What worked? Which habits felt natural and fulfilling? How can you sustain them?
🔍️ What needs improvement? Where did you struggle, and what support systems can you put in place?
🔍️ What should you continue? Identify 1-3 key habits that you will prioritize post-Ramadan.
🔍️ Which dua can you craft to ask Allah (SWT) for His tawfeeq and assistance in keeping you steadfast?
🤲 Closing Dua
Every successful entrepreneur knows that after all the effort, the final step is securing the approval of the client or investor. In our case, the ultimate approval comes from Allah (SWT).
As we near the end of this blessed month, let’s end with a heartfelt dua:

Your Ramadan journey doesn’t have to end here. Share this with a friend, and encourage them to lock in their Ramadan profits so we can all grow spiritually together, inshAllah!
